Blue Ridge Begins

The Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers' Conference began today. I attended the last two events, and can easily picture attendees arriving, registering, and fellowshipping with hopeful chatter as they make their way to their rooms, and then the ARC where they'll start the conference with a fantastic keynote speech.

I don't regret my decision not to go. While I picked up much at the conference, I'd rather go when I'm prepared. Not to sound like a martyr, now isn't my time and I know it. I'm okay with that, and am rooting for those climbing those gentle hills to classrooms and agent/editor appointments.
